alt The main event is almost here. The American Telemedicine Association’s (ATA) annual conference starts on Saturday, April 22 in Orlando, Florida. CareClix is looking forward to sharing our new and innovative ideas with attendees. In just the past year, we have introduced major advancements across our platform. Sunil and I are excited to exhibit our total solution, and demonstrate how CareClix will enhance your current care delivery models, from urgent care to Chronic Care Management and Remote Patient Monitoring.

The conference, titled Telehealth 2.0, will be a great opportunity to speak with vendors and see different approaches to implementing telemedicine in your organization. The conference will also showcase some amazing speakers and topics. Here are a few courses that we are most excited about.

(PC-03) How to Build an Online Primary and Urgent Care Service

When: Saturday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Location: W230 BC

Geared to individuals who understand the value proposition of telemedicine and are close to implementing a telemedicine solution, this pre-conference certificate course focuses on the clinical, operational, and legal aspects of starting a program around online primary and urgent care. We wrote a whitepaper on a similar topic titled 7 Ways to Start Your Telemedicine Program, where we discuss various paths, including primary and urgent care, to implement telemedicine in your organization. We received many complimentary and thoughtful responses to the whitepaper, and while in Orlando, we will continue to share our insight and absorb ideas and feedback from other industry thought-leaders.

(ILF - 03) The Increasing Importance of Quality

When: Sunday, 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM
Location: Experience Zone, Booth 1241

Often ignored during care delivery transformations is quality. Telemedicine markets itself on convenience, for both patients and providers, yet where does quality belong in the conversation? CareClix believes that quality must never be sacrificed for convenience. Our care protocols are based on best practices, ATA guidelines, and CMS regulations. We hope to hear from this panel about how other organizations ensure a level of quality on a par with or better than in-person care.

(ILF - 05) Building Utilization

When: Monday, 10:15 AM - 11:15 AM
Location: Experience Zone, Booth 1241

Despite an ever-increasing number of companies promising comprehensive telemedicine features to fit any organization, we continue to see low, service utilization rates across the board. The supply of technology and services outpaces consumer demand. In a 2016 blog post, CareClix discusses how inadequate business models contribute to low utilization. This course discusses a major challenge for telemedicine vendors, and we hope to gain further insights from the panel.

We look forward to speaking with you at the conference. Tweet us during the event @CareClix, or come visit us at our booth.
